Everyone knows Christmas and everyone has their own way of celebrating Christmas. Our family traditions are a mixture of my wife’s Polish roots, my English upbringing and things which have somehow become Christmas traditions over time without either of us knowing how.

But a prayer book Christmas has slightly more than meets the eye. Over the next 12 days, I’ll be talking about the Christmas collects, sharing one or two of our Christmas traditions, and introducing you to some of the other festivals that fall with, and shed interesting light on, the twelve days of Christmas. I might also publish one last post on Advent which illness prevented me from finishing last week.
